I’m Back…for now✨

My First trip to California for Tama-Do was such a healing time for myself. First , I was so grateful to have found a farm to work on (view photos @artist_ashli) before starting Tama – Do. Both opportunities held experiences that will forever keep me guided in this life.

Grateful to be returning home with new certificates in Color and Sound Healing .

Currently, Im finishing up paintings and getting them to their new homes/community shows. As that’s cleared room in the studio to start a few new works with all this new knowledge of color and vibrational healing on my mind.

Im also still in my drawing book outlining and tuning in details for installation art show in Spring ; I’ve mentioned a few times in post and conversations that I’m currently working on an installation. I expected to have had done before true end of the year.  However , with school and keeping the balance of life …Spring looks to be the better anchor.

So to sum it up. I’ll be accepting clients for Color and Sound Healing,  rotating artwork and studying for my next Tama-Do chapter in California January 2018.

Thanks for being here 🙏🏽

Where Im at – Where I’m heading

As you may of known Ive been studying/practicing Colour Therapy. After several years of reading blogs , forms, websites and attending meditations and workshops. “June 14th , 2014 I begun pursuing my practice as a Colour Therapist.

My first task was to in my journey… to Connect to Spirit in Nature – “Divine Intelligence that will allow me to connect and awaken my vitality, aliveness and divinity.”

(I have some notes here that I’ve started writing out of my note books during my my process. I will continue to update edit (grammar / selling) until one day the notes become part of the website/ blog page itself…)

I after applying to TAMA DO, I have received the opportunity to start schooling to become a practitioner this Fall. I will be studying Sound, Color, Movement( Qi Gong) and Aromatherapy.

Im extremely thankful and certainly have been more in dream state (more then usual;) which actually has made me feel more grounded. I begin my travels this October. Part of the schooling is in a Sound Garden in Malibu, California and the other is in the Mountains in Switzerland. Im looking forward to my journey ahead but more importantly  the opportunity of sharing this experience of Colour Therapy with you. Below Ive listed some general info on what Color therapy and Tama Do are. I also provide some links if you wanted to explore more information. If you have any other questions or just want to share some stories with me please send me an email , etc. and Ill be happy to reply/listen.

What Color Therapy / Chromotherapy is? Color Therapy provides colours to the electromagnetic body or the aura (energy field) around the body, which in turn transfers energy to the physical body. This makes chromotherapy the most effective among various therapies. In other words Chromotherapy is a method of treatment that uses the visible spectrum (colours) of electromagnetic to cure nondegenerate diseases. It is a centuries-old concept used successfully over the years to cure various diseases. Each of the spectrum colours is simply light of varying wavelengths, thus each colour has its own particular energy.  The energy relating to each of these spectrum colours resonates with the energy of each of the seven main “chakras of the body”.    If you can imagine the chakras/energy centres as a set of cogs/wheels, they are rather like the workings of a clock or an engine; each cog /wheel needs to move smoothly and at a similar speed for the clock/engine to work properly. Thus good health and well being is achieved by a balance of all these energies (or the smooth running of the cogs/wheels). Colour therapy can help to re-balance these ‘wheels’ by applying the appropriate colour to the body and therefore re-balance our chakras.

Research behind Tama Do

Tama-Do Academy was founded in 1988 by French musician, composer, acupuncturist, researcher and bio-energetician, Fabien Maman, whose revolutionary biology experiments in the early ’80s showing the impacts of acoustic sound on human cells, created the field of vibrational sound therapy, as we know it today. (His studies started with Albert Einstein’s Relativity Theory.) For nearly 30 years, Fabien Maman has created research and practical applications using Sound, Color and Movement® to balance the body, mind and spirit through the subtle energy fields (aura). He has created serval techniques through the Academy and is in the process of developing several more. For more information please visit their website here.

Thank you for your time.

What is Wall Ball? It’s an annual sensation that is one of the most unique and highly sought after art events of the year! Wall Ball gives the opportunity for art enthusiasts, patrons, and supporters to see artwork created live by some of St. Louis’ finest artists!

Wall Ball is a benefit fundraiser for Artscope (formerly SCOSaG – St. Louis City Open Studio & Gallery), a non-profit children’s arts organization based in Tower Grove Park. Wall Ball is the biggest contributor to Artscope’s operating budget, so that it may continue offering creative programs for St. Louis children to support our mission “to provide a safe and educational environment for children to explore the Arts and strengthen ties within the St. Louis”.

Artscope focuses programming on the creative process rather than an end-product. As a result, children are encouraged to think creatively and innovatively on their own terms, which will influence them to become the community leaders and entrepreneurs of the future.
